Clients are always asking me where the best place is to get their images printed at. I always recommend getting your images printed through a Professional Photographer as they use professional printing labs that use high quality printers, ink and paper to insure you photos look there best. However, sometimes it’s just easier to get them done on your own time or you just don’t have the money at the moment to spend. I get it! I really do, so as long as you promise not to use Walmart, Costco, Target, Walgreens, Shutterfly or any other place that really doesn’t do your images justice, I will tell you the best consumer place to go to!
Before I do though, let me share with you some images to justify my post. Below are three different images submitted to local stores that consumers use on a daily basis. You can see the original photo in the very beginning and what it SHOULD look like coming from a professional print lab. Followed by how it came out from various others printers.
You get the point right? Why would you spend all this money on beautiful photographs just to have them come out looking awful?
So let’s discuss your options 🙂

It’s been one of those weeks for me! On a good note, the holidays are fast approaching. This is my favorite time of year! I get giddy thinking about the decorations, yummy tasty food, shopping, family time and just the overall ambiance of the holidays.
I have some fun treats to share with you in the coming weeks. Including some beautiful newborns I have recently worked with. For now, sit, relax and enjoy today’s edition of Wall Art Wednesday.
Creative idea for a newborn room!
I so want to do this! How fun and whimsical!
So shabby chic!
How cute! I love the use of old painted doors and fun painted frames to jazz up this display. Looks pretty easy too.
This weeks edition of inspiration for your wall gallery includes ideas to make your wall more personal and just about YOU!
Love this idea for weddings, showers, birthday’s anniversaries…the possibilities are endless. I would keep this up in my house for a long time cause it’s so darn cute.
Such a lovely display of random photos collaged together.
Love this one for it use of their presumably last name as the fourth picture.

Who doesn’t love a different look to their own walls? I know I love seeing the creative things people do with their walls to make them unique, stylish and different! I am constantly amazed at what people come up. Here are few favorites for me this week. I especially love the polariod heart collage.
Thought I would share this picture depicting the difference in sizing of frames. Below are two frames a 8×10 and 24×36. Many times, people buy a 8×10 to hang on their wall to display. I don’t think this is wrong, however, the photo should be placed in a location that fit’s a 8×10 perfectly. You can see in the photo below, if you were to place the 8×10 frame on the wall, it would look incredibly small and not make much a of statement. On the other hand, the 24×36 would stand out and make for a beautiful display.
Sorry I missed the last two wall gallery inspiration Wednesdays. Life has been busy and unfortunately this blog tends to take back burner.
Hope you all are having a great start to September. It has be absolutely beautiful here in Denver with 60-70 temps for the past two weeks! I am loving it! I love Summer, but my favorite time is Fall! It’s the time of year that makes me want to cozy up in a blanket, drink some hot cocoa, read a book, cook delicious smelling food, decorating for Halloween and Thanksgiving….ahhh I could go on.
During this time, I fully intend to revamp a few of my newly painted walls and add some beautiful photos of my daughter and family to them. Here are a few inspiration photos that I like and most likely will incorporate into my decorating.
How cute this round mirror nestled around all those frames!
