Little poser sweetness: Denver, CO Newborn Photographer - The Vintage Cupcake Photography

· August 4, 2011 · 9:21 pm · Newborn, , , , , , , , , , , ,

Meet sweet baby girl “L”. Four words – She melted my heart!  That’s it. I am done. No really, this sweet angel was a little blessing to have in the studio. Besides a few poop incidences on momma, we had a great time. She happily moved from one position to another and allowed us to have tons of fun trying on different hats, headbands and more. I was a little sad to see her go, but was able to see her yesterday when her momma stopped by to pick up her images. At two months old, she still is just as adorable as ever!

Here’s to secretly hoping she comes back to do a 6 month and 1 year session with me too 🙂

Real-life Inspiration for your Wall Gallery – Get Your Photo On – Denver, CO Portrait Photographer

· August 3, 2011 · 2:26 pm · Uncategorized

You never know just what a photograph will mean to someone else! This comes from a recent comment from one of my clients this week which made me remember the reason I started my business in photography. I truly love capturing the in-between moments that capture the soul and makes it shine. I can only hope that the photos I take adorne my clients walls for a long time, allowing them to smile at the memory that once was.

For those you still deciding where to hang your memories, here is some inspiration for you! Enjoy

L Family Session – Denver, CO Family Photographer

· August 1, 2011 · 10:57 pm · Children, Families, , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

I got the opportunity to photograph the L family while on vacation in Oregon. Yes, folks I never stop working…even when on vacation 🙂 I only took on a limited number of sessions to allow me some down time and relax on beach though.  My mom first met the L family while looking for cute hair clips for Haylee; it just so happened that Ashley makes the cutest ones around 🙂 Her work is adorned atop my daughters head here. Cute eh? I thought so too 🙂

I had a wonderful time with the L family. They were such troopers for their session too! It just so happened the day of their session the wonderful wind (my nemises) decided to come in full force and not let up a bit. We however, conquered the wind and found some fun rock nooks to hang out in for their photos. And even though the wind made it a bit chilly, the kids were champs and happily smiled away!

P.S. I wanted to take her kids home with me….aren’t they the cutest!

Thanks L family, I hope to hang out with you again sometime soon!

~ Welcome ~

I'm Angela and I love what I do.

I play many different roles in my life, but boring is not one of them. I'm silly, quarky, completly honest and try to live life to it's fullest. I put my heart and soul into photography and take great pride in my work and making sure my clients leave with beautiful works of art they can cherish forever.

I love natural light photography and love working outdoors, however, I have a dedicated studio with professional grade lighting, props and decors specifically for newborns and young children. I adore creating art with color and light. Client galleries are a variety of work tailored to their preferences and edited to my style.

This was just a little bit about me. I can't wait to meet you and I hope that viewing my work will bring each of you as many smiles as it has brought to me!

xoxo ~ Angela
