Real-life Inspiration for your Wall Gallery – Your life Framed – Denver, CO Portrait Photographer

· July 27, 2011 · 2:18 pm · Boutique Products, Colorado Wall Gallery, Custom Framing, , , ,

In today’s society, we are all WAY to busy. Busy trying to juggle life and the many obstacles it brings us. I love my busy life, I love my busy family, but what I really love is coming home to OUR home. I love walking in and knowing that we have made this place our home, filled with pictures and the beautiful memories we have and are making each day. Our pictures we have hung, are what makes me forget about the bad day I might have had and let go of issues that are weighing on my shoulders. It’s not because it’s just a picture, it’s a picture of our life captured in a single moment, that I can reflect back on and smile…and maybe sometimes cry because I know my daughter will never be that small again, because she too is growing up way to fast.

This post comes from my personal side only because I know how fast life happens. We all need to have those special moments hanging on our walls to enjoy and smile at. So my dears here is some inspiration to get you thinking about where to hang your special moments!

Designer Love: Marili Jean Accessories – Denver Child Photographer

· July 25, 2011 · 10:23 pm · Children, Just for Fun, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Can I tell you how much I luuurve children’s accessories! I buy 99% of my children’s and babies accessories such as bows, headbands, rosettes, neck ties… on Etsy. It’s my one shop stop for pretty much every made from people who truly care about what they made, and it shows though in their work. Each vendor has such a fun artistic style to them, I end up wanting each of everything!

Today’s showcased vendor is Marili Jean Accessories. I met Laurie (the owner) last year during a craft show convention where she was selling her adorable hats. I instantly fell in-love and bought two on the spot. Laurie started Marili in Colorado in 2009 when a working mother of three young children had a hard time finding practical, comfortable, yet stylish hats for her children. She describes her hats for Marili Jean Accessories as stylish and trendy hats for little ones, all while keeping comfort as the number one factor. Most of her hats include the Classic Marili Jean Barrette in your choice of color. It is her commitment to you to use only the softest and most natural fabrics. You will truely enjoy the products in this season’s collection- as they provide comfort, quality, and a little bit of diva pizzazz!

Marili Jean Accessories has been featured in several magazines such as Tot Trends Weekly Magazine and Hudson’s.

You can check out Marili Jean and all the fun hats and head bands online here and on facebook here.

Campbell Family Session – Denver, Colorado Family Photographer

· July 23, 2011 · 10:34 pm · Families, , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Had such a great time with the Campbell family. They were so easy going and laid back…my kinda people! I love taking photos of families and children, but one of my favorite times is after the session when I go back through all the photos. I know I have done my job when I find myself laughing, smiling or crying at each image. For this family session, I had nothing but smiles…okay and maybe a few laughs. The laughs came at my expense though, when during the session I kept calling the Son “summer”. Yeah not sure where that came from, but it made for some great laughs.

Thanks Campbell family for laughing with and at me 🙂

Little Miss L came to me at only a few days young with her proud parents gleaming by her side. Her parents were so proud of her and were so excited to get her pictures taken. My excitement was just as much, when I saw how precious she was. Here are Miss L’s pictures. Enjoy.

Trip to Grandma's House – Denver, CO Family Photographer

· July 19, 2011 · 12:03 am · Just for Fun, , , , , , , , , ,

A few weeks ago, Haylee and I ventured over to Grandma’s house for a week long vacation. We spent the week on the beautiful Oregon/California coast and it was lovely. The sun was out everyday and the temperature was just RIGHT….not too hot or cold. Here are a few pictures from our vacation.

Our first day we arrived, we took part in the Crescent City parade. Haylee was the princess of the parade, however princesses get tired. Right after the float started to move she was OUT for whole parade 🙂

We watched fireworks at a friend of the families house. Haylee was mesmerized by the fireworks displays.

We hung out at the beach! This was her first time sitting in sand and playing in the waves. Everytime a wave came up on her feet she giggled.

We saw beautiful wild flowers that trump Colorado flowers any day. These fox gloves were several feet high here!

Went through the Redwoods! Every time I see these trees, I am amazed at God’s creations and his beauty.

And lastly, watched the sunset on the beach and being blessed by God’s creations!

Baby Hair – Denver Newborn Photographer

Sweet holy hair! Have you seen so much hair on a baby? I absolutely loved this little boy, and not because of his adorable face. He was so easy to work with and happily slept the whole time while we moved him around the house posing him in cute ways 🙂 Thank you “C” family for letting me capture such sweet moments of your sweet boys life.

~ Welcome ~

I'm Angela and I love what I do.

I play many different roles in my life, but boring is not one of them. I'm silly, quarky, completly honest and try to live life to it's fullest. I put my heart and soul into photography and take great pride in my work and making sure my clients leave with beautiful works of art they can cherish forever.

I love natural light photography and love working outdoors, however, I have a dedicated studio with professional grade lighting, props and decors specifically for newborns and young children. I adore creating art with color and light. Client galleries are a variety of work tailored to their preferences and edited to my style.

This was just a little bit about me. I can't wait to meet you and I hope that viewing my work will bring each of you as many smiles as it has brought to me!

xoxo ~ Angela
